Theme Thursday: Celebration

I have so much to be thankful for, and to celebrate in my life. I have a faithful and loving husband, I have two beautiful children, wonderful friends, and I am able to stay at home and raise my boys (among SO many other things). I've found, over the last couple of years, that my children's birthdays are almost harder on me more than they are a celebration. The birthdays make my ovaries hurt. C'mon ladies, I know you know what I am talking about! My "baby" is no longer a newborn and is much less dependent on me. SO, it's only natural that I want more babies. MORE babies! Nothing to celebrate there, yet, but hopefully we will be able to add to our family someday.

UNTIL then, this is what I celebrate everyday:

Want to celebrate more? Head over to The Land of K.A. to celebrate this Thursday!

Haha, and just last night I was thinking how I am terrified to have kids because I have no idea where I'll find the energy! I'm drained just taking care of my own life. I'll change my mind someday, I'm sure... when I'm 40... :)

Oh yes, I know what you mean! I hold a baby and I want more babies, but I know stopping at two is what is best for our little family and my sanity. ;) You definitely have two beautiful little boys and a wonderful family to celebrate. :)

Sorry you got caught in my spam blocker. :( If it happens again, just wait because I check it out and despam the comments.

Yep, I sure do understand what you mean! I know right now's not the time for another baby for us, but it doesn't stop me from wanting one! Those two darlin' boys sure are a reason to celebrate.

I'm done (45 this year) but I understand the allure and the heart strings being pulled when you hold a new baby. Best wishes to you, I hope your dream comes true.

Yup, I hear ya there!! I was surprised at how melancholy I felt at Harrison's first birthday! I was actually a little sad! But I celebrate the blessing of Harrison every day.
