Oh, Sadie!

My poor puppy... She had to have her womanly goods ripped from her this week.... But thankfully, we won't have to go through another heat cycle ever again! So, we had to buy her this little cone, for her head, so that she doesn't lick the stitches. Poor Adam is SO concerned about her cone head... he walks around saying "ooooohhhh, Sadie," in a very sad, very concerned tone. It's so cute.

Here's a picture of her little cone:

Everyone here is doing well. We braved the grocery store, today! Andy's mom picked the boys, myself, and my sister (she stayed with us for two days) up and we hit the road. She kept Adam occupied, while Ash and I took Matthew around and shopped. He slept the whole time, and it went so smoothly! yay! :)

Here is a cute picture Aunt Ashley took of Matthew:

This weekend Matthew gets to meet his Great Petry Grandparents and my dad and step-mom are coming to visit, too. Busy, busy, busy! :)

Poor thing, I know we did that to our Weiner Dog right before Quaid was born...you feel so bad for them, but sometimes it has to be done.

LOVE, LOVE that pic of Matthew..he looks so sweet ;)

such a cutie! too bad we don't live closer because he & eli would be great friends with the same birthday!

awww... the first church appearance - Eli had his today too!

he's doing fairly well; i don't know if the same goes for you but i find it easier the second time around (nursing, waking up often throughout the night, etc.) his sister loves him and goes around the house saying "eeeeee-li!" over and over (just like i say it). eli's biggest hurdle is learning that nighttime is for sleep, not the bright daytime. :) looking forward to your BSM tomorrow.

btw, i saw the t-shirt your older son is wearing in your profile picture; lucy has her own version and wore it to the hospital too! too funny. :)

Poor puppy! I feel so bad for girl puppies, especially, but it makes everyone's lives so much easier, including the dog's!
