It's beginning to look a lot like....

Christmas? Just a month too late.....

Snow storm '09 has hit central Ohio! We are literally snowed in. From what I can tell and from what I've witnessed: there's a layer of snow (about 2 inches), a layer of ice (about 1.5 inches), and more snow (probably 5 inches)... It's amazing.... and slippery... and dangerous... and I am glad I am at home, warm, and safe! Here are some pics I took with my phone (hence the not so great quality).

This is our backyard. See how our fire pit is almost swallowed by the snow? Poor fire pit!

This is our front yard.

This was taken a few hours ago. I think there's been snow added to that number!

If you live in a warm place... please don't tell me about it. I will cry.

PS- Did I mention I had the flu from Saturday night to yesterday afternoon? Can I tell you that I don't even remember posting on here, a couple of days ago. Yea. That's bad. Thank goodness the hubby has been taking care of me... and keeping me drugged, apparently.

We had ice here in Texas too so we at least got a "taste" of this. It was REALLY cold here this morning. Stay warm girl!

We don't have any snow here, just ice all over the place and freezing temps. And no one knows how to drive in it (including me). It's awesome. LOL

We're snowed in here, too! I liked it for 2 days, but now I'm ready to dig our way outta here!
Hope you're feeling better. It's never a good thing when Mommy gets sick!!

I'm live "in a warm place" - but it sure aint warm here right now! I guess our 1/2 inch of ice really can't compare to all that tho, even if it does make us freak.

Nope, I'd swap you the snow for the heat ANY day! As long as I could stay home and stuff. They keep making us go to work here in this inferno....curses >:-(
Glad you're feeling better. Hubbies can be a God send sometimes can't they?

That's crazy! I sure am happy to live where I live. That white stuff is pretty and all but I sure don't want it!
