Weekly Wrap

1) Today coffee is my friend. I didn't fall asleep until after 2:30 this morning. sigh.

2) I don't start classes until September 29th! (WOO HOO!)

3) I have read TWO books (that are NOT text books) in the last month. I don't think I've read a book, outside of that, in over three years.

4) I have a baby with "I cry when you put me down" syndrome, today. This one might be infectious; I kind of want to cry.

5) Adam told me that he had been "assaulted," yesterday. He then laughed hysterically. hmm.

6) We had a wonderful lunch with my Aunt Connie and Grandma, on Wednesday. Here are some photos from our lunch:

(this one is kind of blurry and I couldn't fix it... but I just love it anyway!)

7) I finally have Photoshop back on my computer. I can finally make Blueberry and myself a new header!!! yay! :)

8) I've been buying fall/winter clothes for the boys like crazy. Garage sales, thrift stores, and freecycle have been my best friend. Is it terrible that they are wearing mostly second hand clothing?

9) My friend Brittany also gave me a huge bag (and box) of clothes, for the boys, and almost everything worked (thank you so much, Brittany! The boys love the tractors, as well)! She has 4 boys and just had TWIN girls! Go wish her well, if you get the chance!

10) I want a baby girl, someday. Oops. Did I actually type that? ;)

What are your weekend plans? Anything exciting going on? Hope you're all well! Have a GREAT weekend, my friends!

I can't believe you wrote that about wanting a baby girl some day. I, too, would like a baby girl some day, but I would never write it. Oh, crap, wait....

#8 - NO it's not bad!! That is TOTALLY awesome. They outgrow stuff so fast anyway...

I hope you have a great weekend!

assaulted? hmmm. i wonder what that was about? ;)

and, as long as they are wearing clothes that fit (and aren't too horribly out of style. he he!) it doesn't matter where they came from!

"assaulted??!" where the heck did he get that! Funny.

And, my kid lives in almost only second hand clothes, too. But, they're cute clothes!

second hand is the only way to go, they don't wear them long enough to buy new

my kids almost only have all second hand clothes. I love the photos you should have called us!

Matthew must have sent Steven a memo about the crying every time you're put down. I definitely felt like crying too :(

What books did you read...anything good?

I want to know what books you read, too!

Oh - and I LOVE second-hand toys and clothes. Toys are fantastic because I swear they make those things totally indestructible so they look good as new the second (or third or fourth) time around.

And Britt's twin girls are gorgeous! :-)

sorry you're near tears... i wanna cry too, when my kids are clingy. it's like, who do *I* get to whine to??

New layout!?!? Change it back!

I agree with Amy! Bring it back!
The picture of your three boys at the top was such a perfect capture of the essence of each of them;
Adam is oblivious while checking out the inside of his mouth, Matthew is eating (as always!) and your biggest boy has turned those gorgeous eyes to look straight at
the camera while he cuddles with his 2 little clones - PERFECT!

Hey, there's not ONE thing wrong with secondhand clothes...count your blessings!! :)

Great job on the books...glad you're having a great break from school!

Adam...assaulted...hilarious!

Love the new look!!

I kinda miss the old site but I guess that change can be hard. I can see why you like this more contemporary look. This is the sort of thing Himself bangs out all the time and I think they're kind of bland but then I guess I'm a bit of a fuddy duddy nowadays. Blogger changed their dashboard and said I would like it ....and I did NOT. I want my old familiar dashboard back :-)
But anyway, baby girls are sublime and I hope you get one sometime. Not too soon though as I think you have your hands full for the moment!!!xxxx

I think hand-me-down clothes are great! I need some, Harrison is starting to quickly push out of his 3Ts.
