I got Conair as a High School graduation present, from my Best Friend, eight years ago.Conair... has been laid to rest.
The husband made me.
It blows our circuits, daily.
It is broken.
It probably is a fire hazard.
But he... he did a great job over the years.
This is me trying to hide Conair in the closet.I got caught.
Hubby said "Brittany Ann Marie!"
sigh.
So, I got Adam to do my dirty work.He took Conair to the trash dumpster in the sky.
R.I.P Conair. June 2000-August 2008.
This is Conair's replacement.
I call her, Pinky.

hahahahahah Great post. You were lucky to get eight years out of a hairdryer! I bought one for the BA two years ago and the other morning it ceased to function in my hand. Accompanied by smoke and the smell of burning. OMG...nowait...phew...not my hair on fire.

Eight years was good, but isn't it a true bummer to break in a new hair appliance? or an appliance of any kind for that matter.
Just when you get going on a consistent R O L L, the thing has to be dumpered.

I will never lay the purple hair brush to rest!! How long has it been now??? Since Michelle was in elementary school,she got it for me at the secret Santa store for Christmas! It needs to be buried with me! LOL!!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Conair.
I lost my Conair as an infant recently. He was just over a year old.
I think about him every day.

LOL...well, my condolences to you on your loss! At least pinky is prettier than Conair. ;) My hairdryers last a long, long time. Mostly because they get used maybe once a month. :)
It was definitely time and you new one looks fabulous!
p.s. I have NEVER had a hair dryer last that long EVER. You got lucky!
