Adam: The moon is cut.
Me: It's what?
Adam: The man, took a ladder, climbed up, and cut the moon.
Me: Oh, really?
Adam: Yes. He took daddy's big, big, big, (he always says three "big"s) ladder, my scissors, and cut the moon. See, mama?
Me: Oh, I see it, Bubba. What else did he do?
Adam: He make man's face. Out of cheese.
Me: Oh, yes, I think I've heard that story. Where did you hear that story?
Adam: Dora.
Thank you, Dora the explorer, for making my son believe a man takes his daddy's ladder, his scissors, and cuts up the moon every night. sigh. :)

at least it makes for an interesting story! :)
LOL.. that's fabulous!
Goodness, now THAT is darling!
HAHAHAHA!
It reminds me of my friend's 3 year old. Last Christmas (when she was 2 and a half) her parents told her about Santa Claus who was going to come and deliver lots of toys? And she totally thought he was a criminal and was terrified. She didn't want any part of a fat dude breaking into her house while she was sleeping whether he brought toys or not!
This year I think she'll have a different idea about him, though ...
Oh how I loe their imaginations!! (and a beautiful picture of the moon)
Too funny! have a Happy weekend.
Great story! I was thinking "Wow, how creative!" until I saw the blurb about Dora at the end. We haven't seen that episode at our house yet, lol.
What a cute conversation!! I love the look of your site - so pretty!
Have a good weekend - Kellan
That's lovely. Oh and I like your new look! Very 'Fall'. The moon sits well in it :-)
