Weekly Wrap
1) 70 degree weather is much nicer than 90!
2) Cotton Candy Blizzard... need I say more?
3) My little cooing angel will be 8 weeks old on Monday! ahh! I can't believe it's been two months.
4) Terrible twos... I didn't think my sweet little boy would ever go through that; boy was I wrong!!!
5) An hour out by myself, even if i WAS going to the doctor, was much needed this week.
6) The first baby I ever held is turning 17 this Sunday. I LOVE YOU Ashley Nicole!
7) I didn't go to the Farmer's Market last weekend, because I was too tired. I have to go this week, because we need vegetables!!!
8) Andy's diet is really successful! I believe we are at 20+ pounds lost. Congratulations, baby!
9) Tae Bo is REALLY hard to get back into doing. Who knew 10 months of not working out would be that hard to start back up?! YUCK.
10) "There's a party in my tummy...." New Nickelodeon show, Yo Gaba Gaba is the dumbest show ever put on television. Worse than Teletubbies, trust me!

So I decided I would try out this video feature on blogger. These aren't really exciting videos or anything... just us playing in the play room. Excuse Adam's LARGE mess! :)

A True Conversation
Me: Adam, did you fart?
Adam: (looong pause) maaaayyyybeeee.... (mischievous grinning occurred here)
(a lot of laughing from Daddy and I)
Daddy: Adam, you farted?
Adam: No. Machoo (Matthew) fart. HA HA HA HA.
Apparently he though he had made the best joke ever. He laughed for 5 minutes straight. And, he was really the one who did it ;). haha.

My "little" sibs
Aren't so little anymore.....
I'm so proud of my kiddos!! They spent their summer serving their Lord, Jesus Christ. They took part in an amazing ministry, at our church, called Grace Institute . They were able to serve our community, work with others, and above all, share their testimonies. Tonight was their graduation, from GI. I was so impressed to hear each of them speak, and talk about how GI impacted their lives. They have such Christ-like hearts, and I am SO SO SO proud to call them my siblings. I LOVE you guys! :)

Calm after the storm
(Photo found on wbns10tv.com)
Today was quite interesting in central Ohio. We actually even made it to Yahoo! news.
Ohio is generally a very boring place to live. Every now and then there's an interesting news story: like the time the cows escaped from the Franklin County Fair or scandalous Ohio State Buckeyes. Oh no, folks... today we had a tornado!
Actually, it was kind of scary. I was at the mall with Matthew, when my mother-in-law called to tell me to stay put because the sirens were going. Well, of course I think to call Andy because our house is out in the middle of nowhere (very prone to tornadoes, in my opinion-- maybe I've seen too many movies). Anyway, he too said I should stay put and wait for everything to pass.
After a horrendous amount of rain, the storm passed over where I was. Apparently, however, other parts of central Ohio were not so lucky. My mom told me she was watching the funnel cloud circle their house, and I saw pictures of the funnel cloud over my dad's house. SCARY.
Anyway- when I was told I could leave the mall I walked out to see the most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen. It was amazing. I stood and stared at it for ten minutes or so. Sadly, I didn't have my camera but I was able to find a photo of it on the local news website. Rainbows are so encouraging to me. God's promise to His children, and I just love the reminder of His love. :) And I was so thankful that no one I loved was in harms way and that I was able to return to my home and my family! :) Anyway- enough sappiness. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

The song on the slideshow...and more....
I've had a couple of people ask me about the song on the slideshow and who it was by. The song on the slideshow is called "Amazing," by Janelle. The lyrics can be found here.
Anddd... the answer to the "twins" post below. Adam is the baby in the sleeper and Matthew is in the towel. It's funny, because now that Matthew is filling out and getting bigger he looks nothing like Adam. ah! How do they change so fast? Matthew actually looks a lot like my baby pictures. Ok, so that's not bad for him... I actually looked like a boy as a baby...so that's bad or me. haha.
BUGS- DARN bugs are still everywhere!!!!! We fogged the house last night, and I get up this morning, sluggishly drag myself to the coffee pot, and almost step on a centipede! AH! This is very disturbing to me. Bugs make me think of dirt and yuck, and if anyone reading this has been to my house I would hope you would say that my house is the opposite, because I am obsessed with cleaning (for which I blame my mom for the obsession- sorry mommy, I love you!!!! :>).
Thanks for the remarks on the background. :) I am not sure if I like it yet. If it changes again, forgive me...keep reading. :)
Oh, and lastly...
CONGRATULATIONS to by bestest friend AMY and her new FIANCE TOM :)

Spiders...Oh my
Today I was searching in my closet for some shoes, when I was attacked by the largest spider I've ever seen. Ok, so I exaggerate sometimes, but this time I am not... It was about 2-3 inches round... LARGE. So, of course I squealed, like the girl I am and ran, waving my arms and jumping around, out of the bedroom. Adam, being in close range comes running down the hall saying "dance, mommy, dance!" Here's what happened after:
Me: Mommy isn't dancing. There is a very large spider in mommy's bedroom!
Adam: good spider, mommy? (everything is good to him, for some reason)
Me: Ummmm, Big spiders can bite and they aren't always good.
(Adam runs into the bedroom to see what I am talking about. I run after Adam and tell him to get on the bed. Large spider friend is sitting in the middle of the floor, smiling at me. Yes, he was smiling.)
Adam (jumping on the bed): Good spider, good spider, good spider.
Me (crying on the inside and carrying around one of my large cookbooks): Mommy is going to kill the spider, Adam, because he's not good and could give us ouchies.
(I stand over the large spider and drop the VERY heavy book... he's dead, right? WRONG! The freakin' thing ran INTO the closet again. So, this time I go and get the bug spray.)
Adam: Spider run mommy! Spider run.
Me: sigh. Yes, buddy the spider ran.
(I rummage through the shoes, using one of the hangers, and find the spider. I start spraying the bug spray as frantically as possible and the darn thing STILL ran away.)
Me: grrr
Adam: GRRRR... Lion?
Me: No baby, mommy is not happy.
Adam: sad? (sticks out his tongue, because he thinks that's how he sticks his lip out...)
Me: yes, baby, yes.
I gave up! Never found the stupid thing. I did however make Andy go through the entire closet, shake all the shoes, and prove to me that there wasn't a spider in the closet. THEN..... we fogged the house. Not just for the spider, but we've had a massive amount of bugs lately so I thought maybe this was the final straw to make us fog the house.
Stupid spider.
We came to the conclusion that there had to be a hatching of spiders in the house, because we've killed many of the same looking spiders (in smaller form) this past week. Hopefully, all of the spiders and their kin are dead.

A Very Sinzinger Summer
Here's my tribute to our summer- and what a summer it was! :) There is music, so turn up your volume! (If the music doesn't come on, then click on the little speaker in the left corner of the slide show... trust me the music makes the movie!
BSM
Already BSM! ah! I actually have two, today. One of each of the boys. They were equally cute, this week!! haha. (oh, and Matthew is 6 weeks today! ah! I can't believe it) Both shots deal with lighting. I didn't edit the photos, at all. I love how the natural sunlight light perfectly made each of the photos so awesome. Enjoy! :)
I absolutely love this shot. It's my favorite picture of Matthew, yet. He looks so angelic!
I just thought this was really neat. I like the way Adam is a silhouette type figure, in the photo. I also love the look on his face; he really wasn't sure about the oversize "hammers."
As always, to see some amazing shots, head over to Tracey's page!

Weekend Ending
Ah, it's Sunday evening already! We had a very busy weekend, at the Sinzinger home.
On Saturday, Matthew and I got up early and went to the Worthington Farmer's Market. We arrived at the market around 8:30 am, to a very packed market. I had heard about the hype of this market and I just had to check it out. Overall, I was impressed; the prices were good, the produce was fresh, and the selection was decent. I didn't go crazy and only bought what I needed (plus some fresh honey, because I couldn't resist!!).
Then, Saturday night, we went to a pig roast at my family's church. I say "my family's church," because for many years the Stickels dominated the church. It was a blast. Good food, fun times, and Adam REALLY enjoyed himself.
Today we went to church, and I was really moved by today's sermon. We've been doing a series on being "firmly rooted" in different parts of a spiritual walk. Today the sermon spoke on being firmly rooted in our roles. Pastor spoke about our spiritual role. Read Colossians 3
if you're interested in knowing more about your role in the world.
After church we went to Grammie's 85th Birthday party. It was a fun day, even though Matthew was having tummy issues. Luckily Aunt Nikki was patient enough to help me out with him, and calm him down. Thanks Nikki! :)
Overall, great weekend. I'm pooped, however. ha ha ha.

Pretty FLY for a White Guy....
Anyone remember that song? "Pretty fly for a white guy..." doo doo doo do dodo.... lol
Anyway- today's Thursday's theme is FLY. I didn't think I had any photos to represent the theme, and then I remembered some pictures I took at my sister's house a couple of weeks ago, of Adam and my nephew. Clay thought maybe he could play the flying game with Adam, but realized that Adam weighed a bit too much for him to pick up. Here are the photos, enjoy:
Spread your wings and head on over to Picture This, to see more fly pictures.

Scooby Who?
Adam is in the stage where EVERYTHING is scary. He doesn't like the normal things that he once loved. He won't go on the carousel at the zoo (my dad found this out on Friday, when he took Adam there), he won't go down the "big" slides, and he apparently is afraid of those nice people who dress up like cartoon characters. Ok, well, in Adam's defense he's never seen Scooby Doo, so by saying "Hey, Adam, look it's Scooby".... this will do nothing. Even with Daddy by his side, Adam was not so sure of this over sized dog!

BSM: Bean and Adam
Adam, Matthew and I were able to go visit our best friends Blueberry and Bean. Many of you see Mommy Blueberry's weekly photos, as well. Anyhoo- They are on vacation this week, so I thought I would post photos for the both of us, from the kids' play date! :) Enjoy!!
Here is Adam, the chef. Bean's mommy actually took this picture, while I was changing Matthew's diaper. Adam's grandpa Bop (a chef) would be proud!
Go on over to Picture This for more Monday goodness!
Here is Bean trying to put a hat on Adam. Personally this photo makes me laugh... Poor Adam didn't know what hit him! haha.

Here's Bean at the end of the visit. Apparently she took a 2 hour nap that day! Poor sleepy Bean.
Ahh... yes... It is very important to empty out EVERY container of toys, and that's just what they did! :) (look at how big they are getting...sigh)

Thursday's Theme: Key
What is the KEY to good parenting? I think making memories is one of the most important things a parent can do for his/her child. So what do we do to help make memories for our kids? We let them stay up late, on a 90 degree weather night, in front of a raging fire (in the fire pit, of course), and pump them full of sugary goodness (also known as smores).... Ok, so maybe I am not the best example as a parent sometimes, but Adam sure had fun! ;)
Want to know the key to life's toughest questions? (me too...haha) Head over to Tracey's to see more photos!

BSM
Today's BSM is of Matthew.... How he's grown, already, in these last 4 weeks! He's becoming so aware of his surroundings, and he's really starting to "wake up." He can mock me, when I stick out my tongue; he follows voices, when you say his name; he can hold his head up, at a 45-90 degree angle; he likes tummy-time, most of the time; and he looooves to watch the fishies, on his swing.
Oh!! And he's finally fitting into the "newborn" clothes! Watch out 0-3 months, he's on his way! haha. :) Enjoy the photo, and happy week to all!
Want to see more cute kids and amazing shots? Head over to Picture This to see more!!
