Tuesday Ramblings

Is it Tuesday, already??

I'm still trying to recover from the weekend, I think. I am exhausted, for some reason! I feel like I could sleep for days straight. My boys aren't really doing well, either. Adam is cranky and tired. Matthew is cutting his 4th tooth (yes, that's right...I think I missed announcing the other two!), and he's feeling like crud. SO two cranky boys, on top of me being sleepy, isn't a good combo. That and I am a little (no, more like a lot) behind on schoolwork.

So, on top of all of that, my Birthday is on Saturday. I'm not sure I want a Birthday, this year. Yes, I know, I'm a youngin'.... I hear it all of the time, and frankly it doesn't make me feel any better. I may be "young" but I've still been married for (almost) 7 years and I have two children. So, I'm young and experienced- apparently not a combo heard of by many. So, I think all of this experience is making me feel a heck of a lot older than I am. Because I really feel like I'm turning seventy-five.... and not.... well... the age I am turning. (how old am I turning? Did I tell anyone that yet?)

I have to get a new license this year, too. I like my current one. Why can't they just take the photo off of my current one and put it on my new one? I look the same... So why not?

Ok, my ramblings are complete. The boys are both asleep (which doesn't happen very often anymore!), so I GUESS I should do homework. sigh.

Happy Tuesday, everyone! :)

ah yes... I love when they start crawling, and you can't take photos of them anymore! Here....is Matthew's nose. :)

Rough day, eh??? Teething baby, cranky toddler and a tired momma! Maybe instead of homework you should take the boys sleeping at the same time as a sign and get some zzzzz's too! :-)

I hope you do something fun for your b'day though! Anything that would make you smile!!!

Happy Early Birthday!

I am pretty sure that we are the same age, and I have to say that this year was the first year that I felt 'old'. I am not sure I like that.

I vote we just stay this age forever.

Hopefully the boys took good naps this afternoon so that you could rest a bit too! I should be studying for midterms, but that thought is about as appealing as repeatedly poking myself in the eye. Ahh, the joys of education...

Right with you on the birthdays! Some people don't get it!!

I think you should move to Michigan--they don't retake our license pictures. They just send us the new card in the mail :) Of course, if you hate your picture, you're stuck with it for a long time.

I vote for a nap as well. I'm just getting up from mine--he's been asleep for HOURS after crying in his crib the first 30-45 minutes. The swing was the key. It's been at least 3 hours. Yay!! Of course now I hear him stirring. Knew it was too good to last!

Poor you. I can reltae to the photos too. We had our school photos done and they had to come and find me on the 'catch-up' day because I had successfully avoided having mine taken. They even made the Admin girl mind my class while they FORCED me to have a photo taken. >:-( There was nothing wrong with last year's photo! And was about several kilos lighter....
Get some sleep. Feel better.

I hope you get 'caught up' soon. I hear ya on the birthday... I used to not want to be so young because I thought if people knew they would lump me in with the 'dump, poor, bad mom, loser' group. KWIM? Anyway... I am over that now. I hope you have a great birthday!

Well yes, your readers want to know, how old are you? heehee
And my license is up for renewal this year too! But it was expired way back on Jan 6th, somehow I just can't seem to make it to the DPS! And on the days I can, well I usually have a zit or a bad hair day, and my picture must look good!

Oh my goodness what I would not give to be 25 again!!
I can not even say the age I just turned!
As you know it is double your age!
I can not get caught up from the over 30 hours of sleep we missed over the weekend either.
I am so blessed with 5 beautiful grand babies!
Love you!

My birthday is coming up at the end of the month too. But... I am a few years older than you.

It makes me think of that show that was on in the eighties, I think, called "Thirtysomething." I thought those people were so old!!

But, hey, it's better than the alternative. Celebrate your birthday with gusto my friend! ; )

Thanks for standing up for poor old Ohio on my blog - I knew there had to be some loyalists out there somewhere! I think I need Ohio therapy - maybe an entire vacation in Ohio so that I can become re-educated about Ohio.

You are young, so, roll around in it and enjoy it. Age is ONLY a state of mind.

No sleep, two cranky boys...yeah, that's enough to make for some trying days. I hope you sleep GREAT tonight!

I hear ya on the "young" thing, too. I'm also "young" but I actually get sick of hearing that. I don't feel young! I feel old and beat down. Ha!

But nonetheless - Happy Birthday!

I'm guessing that you'll be 30 this weekend. I just turned 30 in Feb...and had to get a new license...but I renewed by mail and kept the same photo...maybe you'll have the option.

Hope you get some rest!!

(married 7 years w/ two kids, too!)

Don't forget to email me with your addy so I can send you one of my "famous (lol)" cards :)

I was young with kids and you know what I am happy about that. I couldn't imagine having toddlers now.
