Theme Thursday: Holiday Fun

We've made cookies....
We've been to a Christmas party....
We've gotten cards....

But tonight....tonight... we saw Bethlehem... kinda.

(those were the only two photos I got of the display. I was chasing kids. Sorry!)

I was so proud of Adam. We asked him to tell us the story, the way he remembered it. He was SO good.

Daddy: "Who is that?"
Adam: "Gabriel!"
Daddy: "What did he tell Mary?"
Adam: "Who Jesus was!"
Daddy: "Who are those people?"
Adam: "Shepherds! and 'Jofus!' (Joseph) and Kings!" ..... "Where's Jesus?"
Daddy: "Not in there, yet. It's not Christmas yet"
Adam: "NO JESUS??? NO!!!!!"

hahahaha. Poor Adam. Don't worry, buddy, He's in your belly (or so you say?!) ha ha ha. (He means he's in his heart. He's a little confused about that whole, having Jesus in your heart thing.)

Then we went inside and had some fun at daddy's desk! Here are some photos from that:

Ummm... Notice where Matty's pants are... yea, poor kid. Can't keep his pants up! His 12 MONTH old pants. C'mon kid, grow a little! You're only a month away from 18 months!

That is too cute! I love kids' persprectives on God & Jesus...they are so stinking innocent. :) Love it!

When is your semester over? And when do you graduate?

Cute!
I know how you feel about Matt - at 27 mos, Will is now comfortably fitting into his 18 month clothes.....

poor matt, he has pants issues just like bean. she needs her 3t pants for length but they fall right off of her tiny little waist and non-existant butt! ha ha!

pretty pictures of the nativity!

see ya tomorrow!! :)

Oh cute! LOL at the pants! We live in adjustable waist pants around here - Kai is our string bean and anythign else falls right off of him. That kid is all lean muscle and no body fat - no wonder he doesn't float!

I love Adam's retelling the story of the nativity, too. And having Jesus in his belly. :)

I love the pants around his ankles shot. Too funny. All kids pants should have an edjustable waist.

Thanks to the last picture, I almost burst out laughing in the middle of a completely silent office. That is priceless!

Look at his pants!! I can remember going through that too....knowing that they will grow into them soon enough. What a wonderful experience at Bethlehem!

I can't believe how much Adam and Matthew look alike! I think it's partly the hair, and that's completely from Andy :)

I've been working on the paypal/chipin thing, and the problem is that I need to verify the account. The problem with that is that the website keeps freezing up on me. So frustrating!!

I was waiting to send you a thank you note because I was so focused on getting it up, but who knows how long that'll take. It was such an encouragement when I opened the e-mail. Thank you so much!!!

He and Nadia are quite a pair: she says Jesus is in her belly, too! But she really means it...she thinks baby Jesus is growing in her tummy and will be born at Christmas. haha!

The display is awesome, and the pants are funny. :o)

oh dear! I love that pic of his pants! And I was looking at past posts, and Carli looks so much bigger than Sami, maybe it's just perspective, but wow! gonna start posting again too

Those pants are HILARIOUS. He's got low-riders! Poor guy. I, on the other hand, can't find pants BIG enough for my hoss. If they're big enough to fit around his trunk they're too long! Gymboree are the only ones that work for us.
