Ode to Morning Sickness

O' porcelain god, O' porcelain god,

how we've come to be friends.

I wrap my arms around your body,

in order to not fall in.

Morning, noon, and nighttime, too

it's a lie that it's just in the morning.

Sickness, yuck, and exhaustion, too

leave me quite in mourning.

Someday I'll look back on this,

and laugh....

no....

Someday I'll look back on this,

and be gleeful that it's over.

Because, O' porcelain god,

I hope that you don't mind,

that you are really not my friend,

just a vessel for my once edible disposes.

Oh man. This is the rough part. I'm so sorry you are so sick. Hang in there!

my sister is right there with you. (she has been more sick with every pregnancy- this one is by far the worst)
just remember it won't last forever! ;)

I also hate this nauseated feeling. I've encountered it for the first trimester of my pregnancy. One of the best coping mechanism is to think about your lovely baby, this will erase every ridiculous experiences you've felt. =)
