What does a large scary mouse and underwear have in common? Lots, in this house!
As many of you already know, Adam has been potty training for a few months now (seems like 10 years), and has been doing fairly well. He has filled MANY sticker charts and is now filling jars with marbles (or as he calls them, diamonds). Well, we've been dabbling with him wearing underwear, while we're at home. He's doing VERY well, and has gone a total of two days wearing underwear. Yesterday he peed all over the floor, but that's not too bad, in my opinion.
Anyway- to show him how proud we are of him, daddy played hooky from work on Friday and we took him to Chuck E Cheese. Mind you, he's never been to the land of pizza, lights, large scary mouse, and games galore! So, this was a jaw dropping, A.D.D acting, experience for Adam (and Matthew, too!).
Here are some pictures:
The wheels on the bus go round and round
Where should we go, Stewart?
Daddy and Adam playing basketball
Matthew and his brother (who is too busy watching other kids play games)
And the whole reason we went to Chuck E Cheese (yay, Adam!)

So fun!
But beware...Chuck E Cheese is like crack - a little taste and then they are constantly trying to plan ways to get their next fix...
Looks like fun! We've only taken the boys there once... that was enough! LOL
As you'll know from my blog, Chuck E Cheese is both terrifying and beautiful. Just make sure to make each child walk through some sort of disinfectant spray like a car-wash after you leave that place. I can sense the filth there. Ugh.

i wish we could do undies... but until her majesty decides it is ok to poop on the potty, i'm just not going to attempt it!
chuck-e IS like crack, maggie. bean is always asking to go back!! ha ha!
Yay Adam, he's doing GREAT with the pottytaining. We are no where near undies here.
but we have been to chuck E more than a few times! I can't believe you held out 2.5 years. ;o)
We took one trip to CC with lauren and haven't been back. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of fun (for her) but too chaotic for me. I'm sure we'll be back anyway.
Good job Adam!
I don't care for CEC! We only go there if we must go for a birthday party. It's soooo loud...I guess I'm just getting old. :)
Toilet training is such a mammoth thing when you're in the throes of it but eventually, like everything else it is a thing of the past *sigh*
Good work on the undies Adam!!
